MAKE MERRY
Merry and Bright
God rest ye merry gentlemen
Oh how very MERRY I was to solve today’s Wordle. Very Merry, as my final guess was very well almost BERRY and not MERRY. I was very wary of BERRY, or even TERRY, and considered consulting a library.
But in the end, Merry and Bright won out over teaberry, mulberry, blackberry, raspberry, elderberry, and my friend Terry though I am still uncertain why. Perhaps I was hoping to be led in a MERRY dance, or to make MERRY, or just enjoy some company because we all know that the more the MERRIER. Who knows, maybe it was the thoughts of holidays past and future or perhaps the need for this MERRY gentleman to rest.
Either way, I scored the “Phew” on this one, and made MERRY at just the last minute. And we all know that making MERRY at the very last minute is always the sweetest of times.
And so I consider myself more than a little bit lucky on this one. Thanks to NYTCo Communications for a challenging morning, and thanks to all of my MERRY followers for reading.
